Required activities
1. Cut out the steps of a butterfly's and paste them in order. Be ready to explain what the life cycle steps are for a butterfly.

2. Work on insect vocabulary. Try and figure out the word with a black box over it. You will need to look at the words before and after, as well as pictures around the text to figure out what word goes where the black box is.

The website will not allow you to place an object in the wrong order, so try placing a different object in the box until all four steps are in the right order. I would like to see your hard work, so raise your hand when you are finished.
2. Look at the chart that is listed in a file below. There will be several pictures. Group the pictures in the correct category based on similarity or difference. The pictures you will use will be from the books and the other items that have discussed so far.
